The BioMakers Student Group

Who We Are

The BioMakers Student Group is a club composed of undergraduate and graduate students who shape the community of the BioMakerspace by hosting workshops and events, publicizing the space to the student body, and making the space accessible to individuals of all backgrounds and experience levels.

As students, we are interested in biology, chemistry, engineering, but also design, science communication, and outreach. Though we come from a variety of majors and academic backgrounds, our core is a shared interest for cool biology and chemistry and using it to solve or think about issues.

Join the BioMakers

To get started, add yourself to our interest mailing list (biomakers-prospectives@) or reach out to the exec team (biomakers-exec@mit.edu) with any questions. You can also join us at our weekly meetings (Mondays at 5:30 pm) or worksessions (Fridays at 5:30 pm) in the BioMakerspace lounge.
