The Huang-Hobbs BioMaker Space

Update: Due to COVID-19, the Huang-Hobbs BioMaker Space is not currently open, but plans to have limited opening starting March 1st. Anyone who is interested in using the space can submit an application by February 11th to biomakerspace AT mit DOT edu.

A playground for biology! Featuring community-shared equipment to get started on your project and awesome people to share your ideas with!

The Huang-Hobbs BioMaker Space is a BL2 biological lab located in the basement of Building 26, 26-035. The space also has some capacity for chemical engineering projects. It includes a TC room, chemistry hood, storage space, and a lounge area at 26-033 that may be used to just hang out or share ideas about biology!
